    The following picture shows the Hyperthermia treatment set up, using an ultrasound machine
( Labthermics Technologies, Sonotherm 1000 ), on the Inflammatory Breast Cancer, Case II patient.

Picture of the Hyperthermia Ultrasound Machine used for Cancer Treatment. This ultrasound electronic equipment uses the same principle that heats our hands when we rub them to each other: tissue cells are moved rapidly by the "applicator's" ultrasound vibration, producing friction between them, that in term raises tissue temperature to about 42.5ºC (108.5ºF).

    The Hyperthermia machine uses ultrasound energy (1 and 3 MHz) to heat the treated area, and keep the temperature at about 42.5ºC (108.5ºF).
